SVdP Host Tables
Alternative Lending Programs
Deb Zabloudil
[email protected]
Members of the Alternative Lending and Financial Literacy Subcommittee will be available to meet with those who are interested in starting low-interest loan programs in their communities or those who just want to ask questions about challenges their programs are currently facing. We will have members of our committee available throughout the National Assembly to talk one-on-one with anyone with questions about loan programs and financial literacy resources to use with your borrowers or with re-entry programs and home visits. We'll have a sign-up sheet available on our vendor's table. We'll also be available at the Poster Session. Get your questions together, sign up for a time to meet, and join us at the table!

A key facet of the Society’s work is to end poverty through long-lasting systemic change. Systemic change goes beyond addressing the immediate needs of poverty; instead, it is about partnering with the poor to identify the root causes of their poverty and remove the barriers that keep people impoverished. Back2Work has been designed to recruit candidates interested in high demand jobs, providing an intense two-week classroom learning focusing on employer expectations and then matching candidates an appropriate internship or career.
