Dave Barringer is the CEO of the National Council of the US Society of St. Vincent de Paul, providing staff leadership to the national office staff and the Board of Directors in support of more than 100,000 members across the U.S. Dave and his wife Mary Ellen live in St. Louis, and have a son, Thomas, a Vincentian and middle/high school science teacher and football coach in the Phoenix area. Isabel Darcy
Southeast Region Vice President

Serving as National Vice President of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Southeast Region, Isabel Darcy was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Isabel graduated from UCLA California with a degree in Finance and a minor in Public Relations.

Isabel became a Vincentian in 2010 at the St. Anne’s Conference of St. Vincent de Paul. Isabel currently serves as President of the East Hillsborough District and directs the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store in Ruskin. She is also on the Board of Directors of SVdP CARES in St. Petersburg, Florida. Isabel has been engaged in the growing Hispanic-Latino Task Force and organizes SVDP’s response to the growing size and changing needs of the Hispanic community. When not serving the Society, Isabel is a proud mother and abuela.   See Full Bio

Tom Pelger 
National Vice President, Regional Support

Tom Pelger currently serves as the National Vice President of Regional and Council Support, guiding the National Council’s nine region Vice Presidents and the councils and conferences they serve. He has previously served as the Vice President for North Central Region, as a Conference President and District Council President. He’s been a member of several national committees and task forces, including Systemic Change, Getting Ahead, Strategic Planning, and the Finance Committee. In Peoria IL, he co-chairs the Jobs & Economic Development working group of the city & county’s Racial Justice & Equity Commission. Fr. Rhett Williams
Pastor, St. Thomas More

Fr. Rhett Williams is a native of Charleston, SC. He attended Furman University in Greenville, SC graduating in 2007 with a double major in History and Spanish, before spending over three years in El Salvador with the Peace Corps. After the Peace Corps, he spent six years in seminary at Theological College in Washington, DC where he received a Licentiate in Philosophy (PhL), a Masters of Divinity (MDiv), and the Pontifical Bachelors in Sacred Theology (STB) degree. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Charleston on June 8, 2018. In July 2021, he was made Pastor of St. Thomas More and Vocations Director for the Diocese.
