IMMERSION/REENTRY PROGRAMS

The IMMERSION Reentry Program has been designed by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA (SVdP) to serve as a continuous improvement national model reentry program focusing on the special needs and challenges of returning citizens those returning to our communities from incarceration. This specific “at risk” group, “at risk” to re-offend, and their families, comprise about one-third of those neighbors in need that SVdP helps daily throughout the country in our efforts to provide a “helping hand” lift out of poverty. Recent statistics released from the National Bureau of Justice Statistics show that there is currently a 68% national 3-year recidivism rate. (Bureau of Justice Statistics, May 2018.)

The Official National Vehicle Donation Program
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The National Vehicle Donation Program is coordinated by The National Council Society of St. Vincent de Paul® (SVDP USA), a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often through direct dollar or in-kind service.

The involvement of Youth and Young Adults is an ongoing process that began with the beginning of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with Frederic Ozanam and his friends.  It is the responsibility of all people in the Society to collaborate and brainstorm with the young people who are the future of the Society.

For more information regarding our Youth & Young Adults programs, go to:  https://www.svdpusa.org/youth

Please keep our vendors in mind.  Many are small companies who rely on Vincentians and our Thrift Stores to remain in business.

In order to enter the prize drawing, you must visit one of our vendors; they will submit your name into the drawing for some very special prizes!
